The purpose of my work is to draw attention to the loss of biodiversity our planet faces. I draw from the natural world, particularly plant and animal anatomy. The pieces rarely emulate one specific thing, but instead are amalgamations which can be interpreted multiple ways. My work acts as a representation of both past and present species; a statement of what remains and a warning of irreplaceable loss.
